Comments CommentsSlalom race on the Face, so the base area and lift lines were busy from time to time. Parking lot looked to be just about full by late morning.

Groomed trails from the top were Face top to bottom (or Mid Face to Face), Skyline, Bunny's Boulevard, and Easy Mile. Milky Way was also groomed, but only accessible via the Gully, as the double chair never ran (we left around 11:30). Groomed trails were generally good with only a few small thin spots.

The Gully and Perley's Peril were open on natural snow. Very thin in places (particularly upper Perley's, which was rock ski territory), but the low angle parts were fine.

Lines for the quad were probably around 5 minutes, sometimes longer when racers were getting ready to head back up. Glad that they left the face open today with the race, having a fence set up on the narrowest section to keep the course separate from the public.

Snowmaking in progress on Lasky Lot.

Overcast morning with temperatures in the 20s.
