Comments | So, I finally get to ski in my home state of CT, well ski at a lift served area that is. Mohawk has night skiing and is on Indy and is a little over an hour away so I said why not? For being basically all man made snow, the surface was pretty decent. I rode all the chairs that were running (4) and packed as many runs as I could in the brief hour I was there before they closed. Sometimes its good just to get out there and enjoy a few runs and clear your head. Timber from the summit was probably the best, along with Pine and Laurel off the other mid mountain lift. No alcohol here so kinda missed the apres ski experience for the single guy like myself, but I would definitely like to come back and ski during the day and when they have more snow because there looked to be some nice cruisers that looked interesting that were either not lit or not open. Its a neat little area that hasn't gone all commercial which is nice. Go ski it if you never have! |
