Food and Beverage Food and BeverageJiminy has gotten even more expensive since I last went there. Had a bowl of soup and it was pretty good, though. Word to the wise: take an empty cup and fill it up at the bottle filler and save $4.50 on water.
Comments CommentsWent up to Jiminy on a Friday night to get some laps in. Made 17 laps in three and a half hours, with a break for dinner. 19k vertical.

Open trails were Westway to North Glade, Lower Glade, Fox, Riptide, and Grand Slam with a few more options further down. Left Bank on the other side of the mountain. Whitetail had previously been open this week, but they closed it to make more snow and it had only partially been groomed out again. Bunch of other trails had whales on them.

Conditions were what we would call great, and what west coasters would call ice. The snow was soft early and stayed soft further down as it was in the 40s. Firm and fast with granular on most of the main runs, but not icy at all. Great carving conditions. It wasn't crowded, so even steeper parts didn't get skied off.
