Comments CommentsRecovery from the monsoon is well underway at Lost Valley. All open trails have been resurfaced since the storm, and they are planning on reopening Chair 2 by tomorrow. They clearly lost a ton of snow during the storm, and they've done the best they can to put things back together. Chair 1 was open with three and a half ways down. Big Buck, Bobcat, Foxhole, and a loop onto Bear were open. Conditions were quite variable around the mountain. Deer Run, Pine Grove, and Bobcat had very hard frozen surfaces, while Foxhole, Big Buck, and Bear had very nice edgeable man-made snow. The mountain was moderately busy with lines no more than a minute or two long at maximum. It was good to be back at Lost Valley, and hopefully they have a good Christmas week, after having lost almost a week of business.
