Comments Comments81 of 81 trails, 8 of 9 lifts, the Flyer was down until I left Tram side at 1 pm. 48F no wind. Spring snow and machined groomed. Clear, low clouds in the distance. Great views of the Presidentials, Franconia range, Mansfield, I think Whiteface, the lakes, Canada etc…
It was ski on everywhere but the tram which went from a 3 car, 2 car to a one car wait on respective runs.
There’s still plenty of snow depth especially up high but it never got below freezing last night in most places so it started out soft and got softer. Despite waxing the gripme grabmees were out on the first run. Never saw any corn snow the report spoke of. The chutes were roped off but looked skiable and indeed saw some fresh tracks in there. Took a top to bottom run down Ulrs and I did not see one person.
Tried to stay in the shade but the gripmees were killer so unless I was in the bumps going slower it wasn’t fun as the day wore on. 4 off the tram and I was done.

Heard horror stories of the escape from the eclipse. Glad we stuck it another day. 10+ hr drives that were normally 5 hrs.
