Comments | Not much more I can add from the 3 Newenglandskiarea.com Celebrity posts already on here, but when you're offered a fee ski day at the end of April, take it if you can, it's always worth the 8 hrs round trip of driving for 5 hrs of skiing! Got to Rt 2 in Bethel at 9am with the rain at its heaviest. I never saw a hint of thunder or lightening which reportedly delayed the lift opening, but that probably kept the crowds away. Waited around for the rain to stop just as my friend Sarah arrived before 10. Definetly a leg burner day and it was a little hard to see through the fog at times, but the sun did poke out on top a bit and by mid afternoon the Mountain peaks had risen above the clouds for some cool photo ops. We did every trail open, even Lost Princess. By 3:30 we were cooked. Nice end to my season! |
