Comments | For clarification, I skied Ellen side, not Lincoln side, this was my first time on that side and What they say is correct - "Club Ellen" indeed, I would definitely expect more people at a place like this on December 22nd! And yes it definitely feels like a completely different ski area rather than some weird alternate version of "the main" Sugarbush (the way Spruce feels at Stowe, for example). I really liked it and would definitely be back if I can, unlike Lincoln side this skis larger than it is and felt, at least today, much more tranquil. Now for the skiing itself - enough open, lots of combinations, a mix of snowmade and natural - firm but all ice was avoidable and not much of an issue. Cold, quite cold, but not too cold. Visibility wasn't amazing for views but definitely sufficient for skiing. Overall a great day at... Wait that was Sugarbush?? |
