Comments | Heading home I was planning on skiing at Rikert Nordic Center, but passing the Snow Bowl first and seeing the summit open, I stopped there instead. Fresh 6" of powder overnight let them open the summit on only Allen trail which was decent. I only skiied that twice. Looked like more terrain and even Bailey Falls lift could open by the weekend. Sheehan Lift had the best terrain open, even natural snow on Hadley and Game Trail. Lang was a very nice cruiser. I skiied everything open except of course the beginner carpet lift. Cold, but sunny day. 2 hours of good skiing. Good music at the base lodge. Happy New Year! |
