Comments CommentsNice packed powder conditions today. Decent sized lift lines for the high speed quad, but trails were not at all crowded, particularly on the west side of the mountain because the Wilderness Quad is down. Singles line for the high speed quad was the longest wait of any lift line. Opted for the Summit Quad when the lines stacked out a bit.

Only a few segments of natural trails open. Bear Run was open, but bumpy. Broken Arrow to Lower Jug had some natural bumps. Upper Flying Cloud (from the Summit Quad) was open, though thin. Upper Jug, Lift Line (steeps were skied off) and the wind had moved some snow, and Roy's Way were closed. Upper Exhibition (segment under the chair) was closed, as the snowmaking piles hadn't been pushed yet.

Only hit a couple patches of hardpack the hole day (top of Flying Cloud and first steep on Big Chief). Good snow on Grizzly and Hemlock.

Subzero start of the day, but temperatures warmed into the teens by late morning with no wind.
