Session | Full Day |
Ticket Type | Indy Pass |
Lift Lines | 0 minutes |
Trail Conditions | 100% open; Packed Powder, Packed Powder |
Glades | Several were in-play and they were excellent. Snow was soft and forgiving; there was some fresh powder on the sides and in the woods. |
Moguls | Natural trails had random natural moguls |
Terrain Park(s) | snow was good |
Run of the Day | NRO Glade or T Line |
Food and Beverage | I had a hot cocoa in the lodge; setup for ordering and getting drinks seems so confused. You get hot cocoa then wait a long time to pay or go around and pay at the right side. $4 for hot cocoa and you get tiny hard marshmallows if the kids haven't filled their cocoa cups with them first. |

Comments | Terrific morning/early afternoon with Jeremy and Amy. I freaked out on Kelton's Gauntlet (I think that's what it's called) when I saw the drop so I inched my way over to the snowmaking port and skooched down skier's left in the woods on a nice pillow of fresh soft snow in what I call the escape of shame. The other trails were fine if you like groomers (which I general don't). I really enjoyed the natural snow trails and they were all great. As Jeremy noted, the parking situation is just terrible due to people parking along the NO PARKING lane narrowing the exit to 1 lane even tho it is 2-way; what if there were an emergency and you had to get out quickly? On the plus side, there was a cop directing traffic when I left around 1pm. |
