Comments | Another awesome day! I've never been here before, and yes, while anyplace is great on a good snow/great weather day, I really liked this Mountain(s)! Got on the lift by 10 am. Lady at the ticket window very friendly and helpful. Easy Indy redemption. Quad lift did slow and stop a lot, but it was ski on all day. We did a bunch of runs even exploring some of the gladded areas before we took the race trail to the bottom for an easy walk over the road across the street to the Hall Double. We did everything except the race trail. Great terrain over here. Its like 2 separate ski areas, well because, it really is! Checked out the summit overlook which was a gorgeous view over towards MT Moosilauke?? Ragged MT and MT Sunapee?? Help me out I'm new to this view. After Lunch the double went on hold just as I was at the front of the line, and we were told it would be a while. By the time I got across the street and up on the Quad it thankfully was running again. Made 2 more runs on that side stopping to look at the Nunnemacher Cabin, and followed some little kids into the woods on a trail I was way too tall for! For NELSAP'ing nerds, the Ski patrol shack on top of Holt's sits on old ski tower footing blocks. I was tired from Magic the day before, so I quit at 2:30. I'll definitely come back here! |
