Comments | Beautiful day to ski. Virtually no clouds, so you could see all the way to the horizon. The Saturday before I was supposed to go, but it was completely sold out and I decided that it might not have been a good idea. The lines got worse as the day went on, getting up to around 15 minutes? I forgot.
Other than the lines, the Polar Express was having issues with chair 17. The auto bar kept coming down after the open/close rail, so they weren't loading that chair. I'm pretty sure the only reason it was still on the line was because the parking facility still hasn't been completed. Apparently it has been happening for around a month or so. It sucks because this lift was only just installed in December.
I got there around noon, and the lines were around 3-5 minutes long. I went down Ropers and the view was absolutely beautiful. Smith was my run of the day, mainly because there were a couple ungroomed parts on it, and they were relatively nice. The view was way better than Ropers though. Overall a good day. I am writing this on Wednesday, and it just rained so I am not looking forward to seeing the conditions next time I am there. |
