Glades | Initially closed (wet powder set up overnight), but gradually opened through the morning. I only skied Raggae Glades (good coverage). |

Comments | Initially only the groomers were open, but ungroomed terrain opened as the snow softened this morning. I believe the only closed trails (excluding glades) were Cemetery Glades, Big Rock, and Raggedy Ann. Snowmaking trails skied well. Groomed natural trails included Easy Winder and Mikey's Way, both of which skied well. Generally packed powder this morning, transitioning to a wet packed as the temperatures rose (did not see much in way of spring snow except at the lift terminals). Ungroomed Sweepstakes and Cabin Fever were tricky due to the freeze/thaw wet powder not being fully skied in. Sweepstakes had good coverage, while Cabin Fever had a few thin spots due to its exposure. Speare was ski-on all morning, while the six pack was generally a two-chair wait. |
