Food and Beverage Food and BeverageAround 1pm I went into lodge and got chicken fingers and fries - was about $16 and was excellent - fingers were bigly and the fries were delicious and hot. Due to snow day in many schools, including mine, the lodge was crowded so I ate my lunch outside at a picnic table and that was pleasant even if it was only about 32 degrees.
Comments CommentsI had a surprise snow day called at school so I texted my friend Amy and she very nicely decided to go to Pats with me for a few runs. There were a couple inches of new snow/frozen rain which made conditions utterly dreamy. Unfortunately FIS and Twister were closed for racing - kind of a bummer but the rest of the hill was excellent. I did traverse Hurricane (left and right bumps weren't bad) to get to Hurricane Glade and that was outstanding. Glades in Cascade Basin were also outstanding - kinda shallow in places so you had to be on your toes. Rain froze on my goggles so I just gave up wearing them after a while.
