Glades | Turns out I quite like the glades at Sunday River in terms of terrain, spacing and such. Conditions themselves were about as expected with some of the earlier day's snow getting sticky, worn off areas, and normal packed powder. |

Comments | Wow, I missed Sunday River. Obviously after 25 laps at Wildcat Sunday River would seem... "slow" and "lacking excitement" (straightlining Lynx is very much spoiling oneself), especially after the snow had a day to thaw. But, Sunday River offers a lot more, and we made sure to take advantage of it. Day started out comparatively springy but got seemingly colder towards the end with the snow firming up. Snow conditions were variable and elevation-dependant. Barker being out for a chunk of the afternoon foiled our plans a bit, but this is a well-laid-out ski area so we were able to reposition around it. Didn't stop us from catching to laps at... uh, 15:51 and 15:59. |
