Comments | Today was the day of days! Sunny blue skies and almost sweltering heat at the base! No crowds, never a line. Mighty Mite, Mid Mountain, Vista and Snowflake running. Wilderness closed, although it looked like it operated the weekend and still had at least one or 2 ways down with enough snow pack. Nothing ever got slushy, only a few bare patches around the last turns of upper Cobrass. Skied everything from 11-4:30. Clouds swallowed the sun around 3:30 and it actually felt cold even though it only dropped to around 50. Beautiful day, no complaints. Still plenty of snow left! Happy Early Spring! |
