Snow Trail Conditions75% open; Packed Powder, Loose Granular
Glades GladesSkied through a few glades. Jordan Bowl: I skied the Blind Ambition Glade and it was ok. There were some sticks and areas that could use more snow but it is skiable. I would highly encourage to be careful if you do not want your skis to be scratched because there are some rocks along this trail. OZ Peak: I tried the Tin Woodsmen Trail and it was good. There were less rocks and sticks on this trail however I would still ski with caution to be sure your skis won't get scratched because the coverage was thin even with the recent natural snowfall. The incoming 10-14 inches should make these glades 100% better than they are now.
Moguls MogulsThere were some naturally formed bumps from the snowfall on the skiers left of the Tempest Trail.
Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)The T72 Terrain Park was open and the Whoville Park was open on South Ridge with some nice rollers and jumps.
Run of the Day Run of the DayWhite Heat
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageChicken Fingers and Fries were overpriced- they were $10.26 at South Ridge. The fries were cold since it was around 1:30 and right after lunch.
Comments CommentsWhite Cap:
I skied this area the most today and let me be the first one to say on here that is was spectacular. I skied White Heat (a double black diamond trail) and the grooming job they did on this trail was excellent. I was able to carve my skis into the snow and rip it up. I also tried the Moonstruck Trail on White Cap and grooming stripes till at least 2:00 since no one was on the mountain. The Tempest Trail was also skiing well, the bumps on the skiers left side as mentioned were great. Nice and powdery. The White Cap area was the place to be!

Locke Mountain:
I tried the newest trail on Locke, the new Bear Claw trail. I think this trail will be good for anyone learning how to ski or people looking to progress to blue squares on Barker Mountain. The Cascades Trail was also in good shape and it skied very well.

Barker Mountain:
I skied the Lazy River Trail to get over to Spruce Peak. It was skiing well since it was early in the morning and there were no icy patches on the trail to speak of whatsoever. I also skied Ecstasy trail later on in the afternoon and that was in good shape too although it was late in the day.

Spruce Peak:
I skied the Sirius Trail over to the Jordan Bowl and it was in good shape. They had a couple of snow guns on this trail as well as guns going on Downdraft. I also tried the American Express Trail and that was skiing good until you get to the bottom of Spruce where you can find some icy patches.

North Peak:
I only skied on run on North Peak today and that was Grand Rapids Trail to Broadway. There were a lot of people on South Ridge like always and these trails were skied off by 1PM.

Aurora Peak:
I didn't ski much on Aurora but taking Aludra to Cyclone Trail to access the Jordan it was skiing good with a good snow pack. I also took Kansas to Lights Out on Aurora and that was in the same shape.

Jordan Bowl and OZ:
I skied several runs on the Jordan Bowl and I would have to say I was very impressed with the snow pack that was existent in that area. Lollapalooza was fully covered and I went to the Blind Ambition Glade and it had thin cover as I mentioned in the glade section above. I tried the Rogue Angel Trail and this was tough to ski on and there were many natural obstacles (rocks, sticks, grass, etc) .... I went over to the OZ area and tried Tin Woodsmen trail and this was a good selection to ski like Blind Ambition.

I managed to ski 8 peaks within 6 hours!
