Comments CommentsMissed first chair but managed to get on the 4th chair of the day. Since most folks in front of me were snowboarders I took off and enjoyed a non stop top to bottom run with no one in front of me. The only way down was groomed at least two widths all the way. Snow that wasn't groomed was 4 to 6 inches of wet concrete. Lower third was groomed wide and felt like a reward. Truly conditions for high level skiers and snowboarders-- saw many struggling skiers and snowboarders on my second and third runs but I suspect they were one run and done. Poor racer kids stuck standing there listening to coach and doing one ski let's twist the knee drills--let the kids ski for crying out loud. First hour was terrific and next was a few ruts between bumps down to ground. People ducking ropes and skinning up closed trails. I spoke to a guy that made a dash under the ropes and said he hit a lot of rocks. Cloudy and snow showers all morning. I did 8 runs and was driving home by 11 am. I was happy I bought a ticket on their website last night and I had a fun time.
