Comments | Soft opening and lift ticket was given in exchange for a donation for the food pantry..a pick-up truck load of food was piled up by end of the day. Sneaky opening at 9:30 am that fooled just about everyone. I showed up early and got 5 runs in before crowd arrived at noon. Trails we're not crowded but a strong showing. Top to bottom Range View with Crawford's Blaze opening at 2 pm. Those two trails have big base from snow making efforts. People were doing whatever they could to ski natural snow keeping ski patrol busy putting up ropes. Not sure if more will be open tomorrow so I suggest check their snow report in the morning. Fun to ski today. There is at least a good 7 inches of compressed snow and I would think decent skinning could be found in the area. Nordic Center is opening tomorrow. |
