Comments CommentsMount Sunapee today. I can only say Yes when friends ask me to go skiing! Rode first North Peak chair with a Air Force Academy cadet, She was home for break and plan to ski Sunapee as much as she can before heading back after New Years. First run at 9 am the sun is so dang low in the sky we felt like we skied Chipmunk in the dark. After that we immediately went to the Sun Bowl where Wing Ding has lots of nice powder on top of a groomed surface, nice and fun skiing. After making a few fun in the Sun Bowl we took Skyway Ledges and that was powdery too. Enjoyed Blast Off and also took a run on Ridge. Good snow conditions. There were snow guns blasting away on trails yet to be open. Trees all over the mountain were pretty frosted white by Mother Nature.
