Comments CommentsWell it rained last night so what did we expect, not the warm spring skiing we had hoped for when we planned this day off to ski. The top half of the mountain was socked in all morning. They did their very best to groom after it froze during the night. It is firm, very firm and places where it was slushy yesterday were blue ice today. Though it was NH day ($29) the skiers and snowboarders were few today. Easily ski right on to all the lifts. Lift staff very polite and fun, they knew it was tough out there. Mittersill was open but we left it to the racers with sharp edges and didn't venture over. The top half of the mountain got a good frosting of white, more than a good dusting and it stuck to the chairs and the trees, it was pretty and whitened things up. Now just need to wait for the sun to come out or have another snowstorm real soon would be better.
