Comments | Lifts opened at 8:30 and along with a handful of other diehards we waited for the rope to drop. It stayed 31 degrees for the next two hours but rain started out as light and ended up as heavy (rain quit in Henniker around Noon). Groomed corn snow, felt like spring hero beneath my feet. East Wind's snow whales are completely flattened and the groomed terrain was fun to ski. Duster and Cyclone are also open, I thought Breeze might open but not yet. Sking was excellent, I made 14 runs. More people out than I thought there would be this morning. Ski club kids and coaches out together, ski instructors clinicing and beginners on the carpets...people want to ski! Keep doing snow dances everyone! |
