Comments CommentsFirst time using my Indy pass for this year. Had my RFID card from the one time I visited last year, and surprised that you can give an old card back in exchange for a new one. Works for me!

Given that temperatures were low today, mountain ops had most of their guns blasting on most of the Kennebago or Cupsuptic areas. They also had them running on Royal Tiger until lunch. In general though the snow is really dry and soft just about everywhere around the mountain, which is exactly what you need. Even the slightest snowfall can work wonders overnight it seems. Case in point Green Weaver, and Grey Ghost. IMO the best trails for one to ski today. Silver Doctor and Red Devil are at that same level too. If it wasn't for how cold the T-Bar is, I think I could probably take more than 4 runs on each.

Periodically during the day I also took some rides on the new lift, the Sandy Quad. A quick 3-and-a-half minute ride can get you to either the terrain park or the T-Bar. Nice little lift to get some quick laps in.

Not much to say other than: I hope they can just keep it going with what they have. Another thaw is on the horizon, and hopefully I won't hit as hard this time around.

Regardless, what a great day today. Bluebird with views as far as the eye can see, with some clouds just before close.
