Comments CommentsHappy Friday, and holy cow is there a lot of snow. Is it really April already? Doesn't feel like it at all. It's hard to recognize Wildcat without all the rocks everywhere.....lol!

Was hoping to get first tracks on the Quad, but lots of people that were already in line this morning. The express quad line was absolutely massive just before the lift opened up, but once Ops started loading guests it was pretty fast to hop on, run after run.

My first run down Lift Lion to Cheetah, oh my god it was so awesome. Snow up to my knees in some places. I couldn't believe how much snow they got up top, and just all over the mountain. More runs down Polecat, Catapult, Alley Cat, Bobcat and Cougar....just the best shape they've been all year. So many people just ducking into all sorts of glades & chutes everywhere, especially on Polecat. I wanted to try every one!

Patrol also started to drop ropes on some of the Tomcat lift trails as well. Feline was one of the better trails to witness some freeride action as well. Turned around just in time to see some dude huck it off a ledge, over a rope, and into a snowbank without a stop. Talk about no fear in that guy.

Upper Wildcat was also the best I've ever seen as well. The upper split section was nice and fluffy, and there were not too many tracks in there for some of the day. Wished I took a picture or two. It was amazing to see a trail once so bad it left rock-marks in my skis finally redeem itself.

Wildcat today was of the highlights of my season this year. It will be even better tomorrow hopefully. Really enjoyed my time here today!
