Comments | Eclipse tickets $50 and $5 a car to park. This day was a 10. Sun, great snow, started out with a little firm and golf balls to corn to spring sticky snow. Great skiing. Lots of locals out to enjoy the last day of the season. They disappeared at noon. Sometimes nearly ski on to the lift others a 3 or 4 minute wait. East Bowl gave us awesome easy bumps and great views of the White Mountains. Everyone so happy and laid back. Lifts shut down for the eclipse at 3 to 4. Some on top or camped out along their favorite trail but we chose to just hang in the parking lot. What a show the sun and the moon gave us. Temps dropped 20 degrees, it was dark and we looked without glasses at the black dot and the flares and Venus and Jupiter shining bright Wild fun. Took us two hours to get home and to franconia. Burke's last day and lots of snow left on the slopes. Bria good to make more fun memories |
