Comments | Cold start but snow was packed powder and felt so wonderful underfoot. Disappointed Duster was not open. The new Hurricane Triple opened about 9:30 am, triple and Vortex were also running so the lift lines were less than a minute. But without Duster and Upper Twister not open congested by 11 am was a little crazy. New lift is very nice. Unloading ramp is fast with little room to slow down and very challenging for snowboarders,with more snow and wider ramp will make the ramp better and having duster open so people can move forward. Noticed the waffleman has a new Air Stream, XStream new set up looks really fun. Doreen, Becca and I made 12 run. We took two over on the valley and everything is open over there BUT the built giant mountain for the tubing park abutment and blocked the return trail to the lodge??? People walking up to the lodge or skiing down cautiously lower twister while race was going on, Yikes. Snow quality everywhere over the top! Looks like more trails will be opening very soon. Snow making going on Duster, FIs and downdraft. Great ski morning |
