Comments Comments Got there at opening and it was a cold morning, mostly cloudy and sometimes a snow shower. After lunch it got sunnier and we could see some mountains on the far side of the big lake. The panorama quad is awesome and takes you to the summit quickly, trails were well groomed and we felt like we had the ski area to ourselves. Small crowd spread out quick. Ski club GS training on Red Hat but it opened when they were done. Gunstock Park on Pistol trails are a lot to offer from smaller to Too Large features. Kris and I had a wonderful day we made 18 runs! The ski shop sells everything from skis and boots to high end down jackets and big choice of mittens and gloves. Fun day
