Comments Comments The Sold Out sign was posted along Route 114/Flanders Road road to the Peak. I was in the lift line before 8:30 and took runs down FIS and Twister. All the lifts were running. Lift lines disappeared after two runs when people were spread out all over the slopes. Temps below freezing and the snow was nicely groomed and it was so soft and made for dandy turning. I headed over to Hurricane and skied those weirdly shaped bumps to get to the Hurricane Glades. The Glades were nice and skiable with the new snow a good 5 or 6 inches fell in Henniker overnight. All morning I was amazed that the chairlifts were running full but the trails still felt wide open. Around 10 they set some practice slalom courses on FIS but they did not close the trail. Becca finally joined me around 10 am and I led her through the glades. When I had to leave I pointed her over to ski the nice trees on Cascade Basin. Super Day at the Peak!
