Comments CommentsA dusting of snow Sunday morning made for some enjoyable soft turns early on, though it started to clear and warm up around noon. The base was (surprise surprise) firm/boilerplate underneath the thin coating of softer stuff on top. It was a bit more windy but all lifts still ran, with shorter lines than on Saturday. My legs were feeling it after a couple runs of icy bumps and I had to leave for home anyways, but I have a feeling that the afternoon might have actually been better than the morning as the snow softened from the warming weather.

Despite it not being amazing conditions, I'm still glad I was at Jay this past weekend since I wouldn't be surprised if the "nonfrozen precipitation" coming up takes out some the natural terrain for the rest of the season.
