Comments CommentsArrived just before 8:30 am and th very best roadside parking spaces taken by cars that appeared maybe they spent th night (?). But it was the close. A little line waiting for opening , it seemed to spread out quickly. Superstar was wonderfully groomed and the first two runs were nice packed granular, the. Small piles formed which were fun and slowed a few wild people down. Skyehawk jug handle peeped to be a pop up park but didn't see any park crew. They made a narrow but very deep lift line and had a fence to allow only one person at a time to get close to lift loading, it didn't work very well hard to get around people waiting for pals. But no hurry! Sun in and out and it stayed chilly and breezy all morning. My ticket was hand scanned on my second and third runs and then I guess it went full honesty. Weird. By second hour snow scraped down to hard frozen granular between the small loose snow piles/bumps. I yoyo'd ten great runs
I had a ton of fun. Too cold and windy to pull out my lawn chair to tailgate for my lunch. Terrific morning! Trail just pleasantly full and I often found big openings, only near misses in lift line because of that crazy gate. Lots of snow to enjoy. Is this my last day of the season? Maybe.
