Comments CommentsRain. Best parking ever and I didn't get there until 8:50. Glad I missed being in at opening
I had slope to myself for five runs in a row because everyone was in the air on the lift while I skied. Most chairs running empty, no lift line. Person scanning most of the time first hour. Not many out. RAINING and still raining when I quit at noon. Only the hardy out today and most of them went home at 10am. They groomed and it was great. Wet loose granular, like a snow cone. Is that corn? Nice fast snow and loose. Didn't bump up much since skier traffic was light. A little foggy, about four lift towers of sight distance. Can't remember last time I skied without glasses or goggles, rain made them usless. My gear wetted out after the first hour and I kept skiing until I hit 12 runs. Back at the car I took a break and changed into dry jacket and pants. I swear it rained harder ha ha and i skied until noon total of 17 runs.
Grass on the slopes turning green and Superstar really hanging in there! Should be a great weekend. I had fun.
