Comments | Killington groomers deserve a medal. Webcam looked scary on Thursday but by this morning they had it groomed out from top to bottom. At the top the headwall was narrow and got bumpy and skied off as the day went on BUT it was fun skiing and sure beats walking. From bottom of the headwall it was groomed nicely down the middle. The lower third steep section was firm hard granular on skier's left and on skier's right golf balls and wider yet old moguls. As the morning sun warmed the snow the golf balls got flattened out by skiers and snowboarders and the old moguls softened up. It wasn't too crowded the first hour and it seemed to lighten up the next couple hours. Friday spring skiing rocks! A few people dressed up funny, saw a guy with skis on his motorcycle and why does it always smell like skunk? People sitting in chairs tailgating that started early. Good chance tomorrow maybe the last day! I am so glad I went today, I got in a lot of good runs. People golfing and mountain biking at Killington. They said keep an eye on their conditions report |
